Located in the heart of Beverly Hills, Ava MD is owned by dermatologist Dr. Ava Shamban and run by Penn alumnus Kevin Kassover (C '91), Director of Operations.

A general dermatology and aesthetic center, Ava MD provides services such as injectable fillers and Botox®, skin-rejuvenating laser treatments (including the cellulite reducing/tightening Alma Accent XL®), photofacials/IPL, hair removal, deep cleansing facials and medically supervised acne treatments.

Dr. Shamban's unique approach to modern skin care combines science and nature in harmony, creating new ideas, products and services resulting in healthy, beautiful skin. She is a board certified dermatologist and owner of the Laser Institute for Dermatology - an enterprise housing a medical practice, an in-house medical day spa and the Acne Treatment Center - in Santa Monica, California. She is also an Assistant Clinical Professor of Dermatology at UCLA and a Harvard graduate.

All Penn alumni will receive 25% off Ava MD's aesthetic services for their initial visit. Thereafter - as friends and family -- Penn alumni will be entitled to 10% off all future aesthetic treatments. Additionally, Ava MD accepts most major health insurance.
